Police Blotter: Naked Man in the Park; Stolen Coins; Busted at Taco Bell

A man reportedly stole $300 worth of cigarettes from , 11706 Clifton Blvd., at around 2:30 a.m. Oct. 22. were unable to locate the suspect, last heading east on Clifton by foot.

Police responded to , 13302 Detroit Ave., after receiving a call stating a black male was holding a gun to the head of a white male at around 5:41 p.m. Oct. 23. Turns out the two were shooting a movie, and the handgun was a prop.

Gold Coins

A man called police to report missing gold coins from his apartment in the 1400 block of Warren Avenue around 10:45 p.m. Oct. 23. The man said he suspected his friend from another apartment had taken them.

Public Nudity

Police received a call around 3:30 p.m. Oct. 22 claiming an elderly Asian man was hanging around the bandstand at Lakewood Park with no clothes on. Police searched the park but were unable to find the man. Several other people in the park reported nothing unusual.

Recovering a Stolen Vehicle

Police arrested a man after spotting a stolen car from Akron in the Detroit Avenue parking lot at around 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 20. The man is charged with receiving stolen property, driving under suspended license, no plate light and unsafe vehicle.
