To acquire, conserve and sustainably manage natural resources to provide the public with passive outdoor recreational and educational opportunities through a regional system of natural-area parks.

Resources

Metro Parks manages 11,500 acres, including 14 developed parks, several conservation areas and more than 125 miles of trails, with the 34-mile Bike & Hike Trailand 22.4 miles of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail.
