Hi, my name is Joni and I've been a nurse for a long time.  I've spent most of my 33 years in the field working in-house Trauma/ ICU/ER, although I've spent a fair amount of time on squad and in the air also.  Holding many advanced certifications in Critical Care/Trauma it became difficult for me to keep current while not on 'staff' at any particular Hospital or Institution in the area. 

While 'freelancing' as a nurse gives a well-trained professional the freedom to make their own schedule it also presents unique challenges to stay current on mandated certifications required by High Acuity Units everywhere. 

To that end, I opened the; Lakewood Learning Center.  LLC assists busy professionals, like  myself, keep current on the certifications they need to work! 

My goal:  To maintain the best, affordable, convenient Training Center in the area.  A place where Nurses, CNP/PA's, Physicians, Medics, RT/PT/OT's, CT/Monitor/X-Ray Techs, Teachers, Coaches & DayCare/ChildCare Staff could come to obtain the certifications they need to stay in compliance at work.  It also affords them an opportunity to work at the highest paying job sites in the area.
