ReplySeems like nothing but real estate listings instead of news around here anymore. I already live here. I wouldn't be reading the Lakewood news if I didn't live in Lakewood. And since I live here, I obviously already have a place to live. So what gives?

ReplyI still don't even under why this Drug Mart is being built. There's another one literally less than a mile a way down Detroit. Not to mention multiple other stores that fit a similar description (CVS, Rite Aid, etc). Why are we turning into a city of discount pharmacies? We absolutely do not need YET ANOTHER of these taking up retail space.

ReplyHey everyone, let's allow people to keep bears as pets inside Lakewood. After all, it's not like certain breeds/species of animal are more violent than others. As long as we feed them vegan food and give them lots of hugs no one will ever get mauled I promise!

ReplyThere are hundreds of breeds of dog. You can't find one among all of those that you like aside from pit bulls? If science is on your side, then clearly you understand evolution. And if you understand evolution, then you understand what has been bred into these dogs for generation after generation. Sure, there can be nice pit bulls. But there can also be vicious ones. Is it worth some child being mauled to death by the one nasty one just so you can have your pretty little puppy dog? No, it's not. Find another breed and stop being so stubborn about trying to ramrod a potentially vicious breed of dog back into the city.
