Armed and Dangerous: Lakewood Fugitive Wanted for Drug Trafficking

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Dontez White.

Dontez White is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the Lakewood Police for drug trafficking and firearms offenses, according to Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force. White, 38, has a significant criminal history, officials said, and should be considered armed and dangerous. White is a black male standing approximately 5’06” and weighing 400 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. White is suspected to be hiding out somewhere in the Cleveland area. He also had a previous address near the 600 block of Willow Dr. in Euclid. Authorities Looking for Young Fugitive Wanted in Shooting

Byron James is the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force's fugitive of the week.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Byron James. James is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office for homicide. It is alleged that on Aug. 18th, 2012, James pulled up to the intersection of E.136th and Kelso Avenue in Cleveland and he got out of the car and shot Darius Lewis several times and fled the scene. James is a 26-year-old black male standing approximately 5-foot 7-inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Suspected Drug Dealer Wanted After High Speed Chase

Emmitt Smith is wanted by U.S. Marshals as the Fugitive of the Week.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Emmitt Smith a.k.a. “E”. Smith is wanted by the U.S. Marshals for violating conditions of his federal supervised release. Smith is also wanted by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office for obstruction of justice. Smith is accused of performing a drug transaction on Nov. 14, 2012. When Cleveland police attempted to stop Smith, he led them on a high speed chase, driving through several lawns and endangering public safety. Murder Suspect Sought by Police, U.S. Marshals

John Alexander Jr. -- who has previously lived in Cleveland and Euclid -- is the Fugitive of the Week

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive John Alexander Jr. Alexander is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office for homicide, attempted homicide, kidnapping, having weapons while under disability, and aggravated robbery. Alexander is accused of shooting and robbing a man in the area of East 79th Street and Kinsman Avenue last August. He is also accused of shooting and killing a man earlier this month around East 151st Street and Glendale Avenue. Alexander is a 23-year-old black man who is about 5’10” and weighs 200 pounds. US Marshals Arrest Man Accused of Raping Child in Lakewood

Bobby Thomas, one of the task force’s fugitives of the week, was arrested Wednesday morning.

An alert, anonymous citizen helped the US Marshals arrest a man suspected of rape. Last week, the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force featured Bobby Thomas as its fugitive of the week. Thomas, 39, was wanted by the Lakewood Police Department for rape and kidnapping. According to a release from the task force, Thomas allegedly raped a child under the age of 14 multiple times between August and October 2012. The release notes that the U.S. Marshals received a number of tips regarding Thomas since he was featured, but none led them to his current location. At about 8:40 a.m. on Wednesday, the U.S. Marshals received an anonymous text that said Thomas was hiding in a home near the 3200 block of West 73rd Street in Cleveland. Police found …

Fugitive of the Week Turns Himself In

Keith Bush is wanted for murder.

Keith Bush, the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force’s current fugitive of the week, turned himself in Tuesday morning, Ryan Helfrich of the U.S. Marshals said in an email.   After seeing himself on the news Monday night, Bush decided to turn himself in to the Cleveland Police, Helfrich said.  Bush is wanted for murder. Fugitive Flees Police Wrong Way on I-90

Antonio Armstrong is the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force's fugitive of the week.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is looking for information on Antonio Armstrong, a wanted fugitive who was recently the subject of a police chase.  Armstrong is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the Willoughby Police Department for felonious assault on a police officer, according to a release from the task force.  On Jan. 7, a Willoughby police officer tried to stop Armstrong, who had gone to a local hotel to meet a prostitute, according to the release. Armstrong then fled the scene, nearly hitting an officer and intentionally running into a police car. He began driving the wrong way on Interstate 90, hitting another police car, until he crashed on East 185th Street in Cleveland. He then fled the scene on foot.  Armstrong was …
