The Lakewood Criterium, the popular cycling event on the city’s West End, is taking the year off. According to a press release, the event is skipping the 2013 season in an effort to “rebuild for 2014 and beyond.” Lakewood Criterium is a high-speed bike race geared specifically to riders that reach speeds of at least 30 mph.
