Bullets Found at Lakewood High School
Superintendent: “There have been no threats made relating the students, staff or school.”
Two unused, .22-caliber bullets were found last week at Lakewood High School. One of them was found in a hallway while students were in class, and the other in a classroom after school let out on Thursday. The bullets were turned over to the Lakewood Police Department for investigation. With the TV stations calling and Twitter buzzing with the news, Superintendent Jeff Patterson released a statement about the incident. “There have been no threats made relating the students, staff or school,” he said. “Please be assured that the district puts your student's safety as our top priority. im just annoyed that they didnt bother telling any of the students what was going on. they never do anyway (like on 12/21/12 when they had police officers at the school and no one knew if there was actually threats or w/e) great going, LHS admins   more ›
