Izzy Schachner and Jay Leitson partners in the popular food truck StrEat Mobile Bistro are opening a brick-and-mortar establishment in the space at 16300 Detroit Avenue. Street Burger is expected to open in April. “We are going to be turning it a new concept,” said Schachner, adding that he’d like to keep a lid on many of the details. “It’s going to be great.” Meanwhile, construction crews have been working all week on the build-out of the new restaurant. Clarification: The owner of 56 West, Don Farone, will not be a partner in the new venture.
