Show airing on Saturday night on WKYC to catch the killer of Sherwon Wanzo.
The case involving the murder of Sherwon Wanzo has gone cold. It’s been six months, and no arrests have been made in the April shooting death of the 18-year-old Lakewood High School senior. The case remains unsolved. The producers of the TV show “Crime Stoppers” hope to change that. A film crew recently wrapped up a re-enactment at the site of the shooting — near Bosworth Road and Linnet Avenue in Cleveland — to generate new interest in the case. The episode is set to air on WKYC Channel 3 at 7 p.m. Saturday. Shawn Rech, executive producer of Crime Stoppers: Case Files — and the owner of Cleveland-based Pinpoint Media — said that the episode will examine the facts of the case in an attempt to get someone with information about the …

Death of Lakewood High School senior still under investigation.
Cleveland police have no suspects and are still investigating the early morning April 15 shooting death of Lakewood High School senior Sherwon Wanzo, said Cleveland police Det. Jennifer Ciaccia. Editor's Note: This letter to the editor was submitted by Felix Catheline, Sherwon Wanzo's former coach and teacher at Columbus South High School. My name is Felix Catheline and I am the head wrestling coach and 12th grade government teacher at Columbus South High School. Sherwon spent his Junior year living in Columbus, and it was my privilege to coach him in wrestling. Sherwon had never taken a very active role in high school athletics before he came to us at South, which made his athletic career all the more impressive. In his only season, he won a league championship at 152lbs., and showed great promise for the future. I was heartbroken when Sherwon had to return to Cleveland for his senior year. I kept in touch with him during the …
