Car break-ins reported A laptop computer was reported stolen from a parked vehicle in the 1200 block of Donald Avenue at around 7:45 a.m. April 17. Another incident was reported in the 1300 block; a wallet, checkbook and football tickets were reported stolen. Later in the day, a man in the 13500 block of Merl Avenue told police that someone broke into his vehicle the night before and stolen a few items. Man faces charges after bailing from traffic stop A man bailed out of a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Giel Avenue at around 2 a.m. April 16. He fled on foot. A man was charged with drug abuse after someone spotted him “injecting something” into his arm with a hypodermic needle in the parking lot at the Speedway on Warren Road at around 8:30 p.m. April 9.
