Lakewood Park Bandstand Getting an Overhaul
Rain postpones the volunteer-led project, spearheaded by Lakewood-based Neubert Painting.
A Lakewood-based painting company has volunteered their “time and talent” to transform one of the city’s favorite attractions. The project to strip, scrape, sand and paint the Lakewood Park Bandstand was expected to be finished on Tuesday. Then, the rain came. Although dozens of volunteers started on the project on Tuesday morning, the final product will have to wait.
