Lakewood Schools Dress Code: A Closer Look
We thought we’d share with the district's dress code in its entirety.
The number of students looking to update the Lakewood City Schools’ dress code is growing. A petition to end the “hoodie ban” launched last semester by a Lakewood High School student has more than 500 signatures. In addition, a group of Lakewood High School girls decided to organize to revisit several aspects of the dress code — including the length requirements of skirts, hair color and the no-piercings rule. We thought we’d share with you the dress code in its entirety (check out the PDF at the right), provided by the school district. Tell us what you think about the dress in the comments.
