Beck Center for the Arts Brings 'Joseph' to the Stage

Several performances of 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' featured.

This holiday season, the Beck Center for the Arts is lighting up the stage with the brightness of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat — a humorous retelling of the biblical story of Joseph of Canaan. There's a little something for everyone in the family. And that seems to be paying off. So far, the show is one of the biggest holiday draws in years, Beck officials said. The show is directed by 20-year veteran of the Beck Center, Scott Spence, and features Tricia Tanguy as the narrator for Joseph. Tanguy, a Strongsville native, is recreating the roll after performing it with the national touring production. The well-known musical featured at the Beck has been in production since the beginning of November and involves 25 professional…
