Jeanette M. Carney (Cleary), of Lakewood, died Dec. 16 — a day before her 96th birthday. Beloved wife of the late James M. Carney. Dear mother of James M. Carney Jr. (Elisabeth). Loving grandmother of James M. Carney III; sister of the late Leona Grossman Mone and Irene Cardell; aunt of John J., James A., and Joseph D. Carney, Jean Carney Hagan, William (also known as Brother Nathaniel), Robert Grossman, and Robert Cardell. Mrs. Carney was a painter, writer and decorator.
