Kent State Watch Parties Slated in Lakewood
The Golden Flashes are playing Arkansas State for their third-ever bowl appearance in the GoDaddy.com Bowl Game. Kickoff is slated for 9 p.m., shown on TV on ESPN.
After winning 11 games — a program record at Kent State — the Golden Flashes football team will take on Arkansas State for the GoDaddy.com Bowl Game at 9 p.m. Sunday. Not going to Mobile, AL, to watch the game? You're not alone. It’s on ESPN, and there are watch parties slated all over the country — from North Carolina to Hawaii. This is the third bowl appearance for the Golden Flashes. They last appeared in the Tangerine Bowl in 1972 and the Refrigerator Bowl before that in 1954. The Golden Flashes will have some supporters in Lakewood. At least a couple Lakewood bars are hosting official watch parties. Know of any other watch parties? Share them in the comments.
