Just 4 Girlz Closes, Curve Appeal Opens

Curve Appeal looks to promote a positive approach for women who wear “plus sizes,” said owner Marian Zipay.

Life is too straight without a little Curve Appeal.  That’s the self-styled motto of the new clothing store at 15612 Detroit Avenue named — wait for it — Curve Appeal.  The store opened its doors on Saturday, just a few weeks after the previous tenant Just 4 Girlz closed its doors. Curve Appeal looks to promote a positive approach for women who wear “plus sizes,” said owner Marian Zipay.  “It is not like any other resale fashion boutique,” she said. “It is exclusively for women sizes 12 and up. Our store is built on the foundation that every woman is beautiful and should celebrate (her) curves.” The store offers plus-sized clothing, but jewelry and handbags are also for sale.
