Lakewood Trio Competes In CSU Invitational
Rangers' Sarah Neff places 14th in 200 freestyle
The Lakewood swim team brought a trio of swimmers to the CSU Viking Invitational at the Robert Busbey Natatorium on Dec. 18 and had one of the three reach the top 20. Sarah Neff was the top Ranger, placing 14th in the 200 free with a time of 2:04.57 where Morgan Cohara of Hawken was the champ with a time of 1:53.90. Neff reached the consolation finals with a 2:04.99 in the prelims. She also swam in the 100 free, just missing the consolation finals with a 57.93 to take 24th. It took a 57.64 to make it into the top 20 for a spot in the evening consolation swim. The Rangers also had Maddie Mahoney in two events.
