Fundraising event features bike tour and artist showcase on May 19

Beck Center for the Arts and Connect to Beck has a special fundraising event that’s good for the body and soul, and it’s all a simple bike ride away. The organization will host the first annual Bike for Beck tour on May 19. It begins at 9 a.m. and starts at the Beck Center and continues through the Metroparks. After the morning bike ride, the Beck Center will have arts and entertainment throughout the center’s campus. Proceeds from this fundraising event benefit Beck Center’s arts education programs. “Bike for Beck is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Lakewood’s bikeability while introducing Beck Center to new audiences in a fun, healthy and creative way,” said Lucinda Einhouse, Beck Center President and CEO, in a press release. …
