It seems as if a three-day power outage was the “straw that broke the camel’s back” for Zappitelli’s on Madison. The pizza shop — voted the pizza in Lakewood by Lakewood Patch readers — announced Thursday that it was closing its doors. Adam Carroll, the pizza shop’s owner, told Lakewood Patch in August that the shop would close by the end of the year.
