Power outage was the “straw that broke the camel’s back.”
It seems as if a three-day power outage was the “straw that broke the camel’s back” for Zappitelli’s on Madison. The pizza shop — voted the pizza in Lakewood by Lakewood Patch readers — announced Thursday that it was closing its doors. Adam Carroll, the pizza shop’s owner, told Lakewood Patch in August that the shop would close by the end of the year. "The power outage was the straw that broke that camel's back," he said on Thursday. "It's over."
