Hi - just clicked on details for several sale sites and nothing is appearing on what is being soldRead More at the location. Cleveland Heights just had a neighborhood sale last weekend, and they also posted it on craigslist under "estate sales" and "garage sales" in order to create more public awareness. Is this being done for the Lakewood Yard Sale Weekend?

Looking back, personally, I really enjoyed the Lakewood Project and spending time with my family. NoRead More TV's, no computers, no phones. Just hanging out, snacking and gabbing. That's better than fireworks anyway.

I miss being able to let my kids have the run of the whole neighborhood. My Mom would say to me andRead More my 5 siblings "Dinner at 5pm - be back on time or else!" and then we would go do whatever we wanted for the whole day...playing 40/40 or street hide and seek, go to parks and woods and just have a blast. Nowdays you have to have your kids within sight for their own safety, in fear of kidnappers and pimps or gangs with guns. Sigh.

Me too! I remember having the run of the street and it breaks my heart to have to keep my 8 yearRead More old near the yard. We used to walk everywhere all over town, get together for kick ball, softball, volleyball, kick the can (yes we really did that) bicycling to the valley and back. Oh! and block parties :)
