It may just be someone walking up to your box and taking the mail. I have seen people and had a few people stealing mail from me, my tenants, and neighbors. i have called and had the police on my property a few times. Until I moved to Lakewood, I always thought if someone takes mail out of another mailbox that it was a crime. It is not a crime... Unless you can prove they intended to do something with it (cash check or something like that). Silly me, i thought once it left my mailbox they had intent to do something with it. My dogs and I love our maillady, and she is the most protected mailperson while in their sights.

I've been missing mail for the past two weeks, and I too live in the Lincoln-Delaware area. I called to see what options I had for sorting out the problem and this "Mark" guy was a complete jerk. He just didn't want to help me at all.

I too feel bad about having to give one star. The customer service is terrible. Unfortunately, the worst offenders are not the girls that work the desk but the supervisors. One supervisor in particular, his name is Mark, is EXTREMELY rude to me EVERY time I talk to him. He was blatantly rude in front of my eldest daughter when she took me up to inquire about a missing package. I have had a repeated problem with the postal carrier who is assigned to the Lincoln/Delaware avenue area. I order a lot online & several times she has lost packages of stuff I ordered. One was a set of special beads for a custom ordered jewelry piece I was working on. They weren't delivered, so I complained and was referred to "Mark", who couldn't find the package. Then the computer was updated(after my complaint) to say that the package had been delivered. When I caught her and asked her exactly where she left it, she said she must have delivered it to the same address on the next street. I went to those addresses on the streets on either side of me and neither house had a package delivered. She NEVER ONCE said she delivered it to MY HOUSE...It was always"I must have put it in the wrong mailbox." Because they never found the package, I lost that customer(the beads could not be replaced) & the company never gave me my money back for the beads because the tracking said it was delivered. Now my husband's custom-ordered lighter for Valentine's Day is missing & they can't find THAT package either.

I feel terrible that I even have to give them one star. Not sure which word better describes their customer service, rude or incompetent, but leaning towards rude.
