This cozy restaurant is located on the East end of Lakewood, close to public transit. Thai Kitchen offers up Thai cuisine, including rice platters, Thai curry and house noodles. It is open for lunch and dinner and also offers take-out. The restaurant is also willing to alter dishes for vegetarians or vegans.
This place may not look like much, but the food is the real deal. Unlike many local places, they don't skimp on the heat, either! Fans of spicy food will rejoice, while those who prefer mild can get that as well.
Be warned that takeout orders can take up to an hour sometimes during the dinner rush because it's a small kitchen, so plan accordingly.
The pad thai, rolls and of course the thai tea is excellent. The owner is very nice too!
I can't believe they've never moved to a larger location. This place is great.
