Lakewood Charitable Assistance Corporation

Lakewood Charitable Assistance Corporation is a non-profit organization based on Lake Ave., working to improve the quality of life of under-privileged residents of the community. The group offers numerous services and programs, including collecting food, raising funds and providing volunteer services, such as the Thanksgiving and Christmas food basket events. The LCAC has helped provide over 5,000 Lakewood families with holiday food bags at Thanksgiving and Christmas and also provides cleaning supplies for the spring cleaning bucket program. With the continued help of supporters the group also provides needed assistance to over 750 families and seniors a year.
