It's 'Kitten-Palooza' at the Lakewood Animal Shelter

Several new litters of kittens were dropped off this week — and they are all looking for a new home.

They're calling it "Kitten-palooza" this weekend at the Lakewood Animal Shelter after several new litters of kittens were dropped off this week.

All of them have been vaccinated, wormed and received a treatment of Advantage.

And they are all looking for a new home.

They are all available for adoption through the Lakewood Animal Shelter, located in the Cleveland Metroparks, on Cleveland Metroparks Drive (Valley Parkway) just south of the Dog Park.

Adoption fees are only $35.

That includes deworming medicines, initial vaccination, capstar flea pill (seasonal), a collar with identification tag, a cardboard carrier, initial veterinarian visit with second vaccination from participating local veterinarian and a spay/neuter certificate valued at $75, redeemable at most local veterinarians.

Adoption hours are from noon to 6 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, and from noon to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
