Senator Mike Skindell to Tour Nature’s Bin in Lakewood on August 27

The Lakewood Chamber of Commerce and the Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE) will host Ohio Senator Michael J. Skindell (D-Lakewood) at Cornucopia’s new Vocational Training Center on Tuesday, August 27 at 1 p.m.  Senator Skindell will tour the facility at 18228 Sloane Avenue, and hear about Cornucopia's work in providing community-based employment training for people with disabilities.

The event will also serve as a preview of the month-long Year of the Small Biz celebration in Lakewood during September.  The campaign will spotlight the contributions that small businesses make to our local, state and national economies.  Each month, COSE will be collaborating with a different local chamber of commerce in Northeast Ohio to celebrate local small businesses in their community.
