Lakewood Chamber of Commerce Now Accepting Donations to 5th Annual Holiday Bid & Buy Online Auction

The Lakewood Chamber of Commerce will soon host the 5th Annual “Holiday Bid & Buy” online auction, which begins on Friday, November 8th and ends on Friday, December 6th, 2013 at 8pm.

The Holiday Bid & Buy online auction showcases items donated by some of the area’s best locally owned businesses and raises funds for the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce’s economic development programs. By donating to the online auction, business owners (and individual donors, independent artists, nonprofit organizations, etc.) can promote Lakewood and promote their businesses online while making a difference in the community.  Beginning on September 25th, auction items can be submitted to the auction site by visiting www.lakewoodchamber.org/donate-now/.

When a business, organization, or individual donates to the auction, the donated item will be featured with its own bidding page, with the company/organization logo and a direct link to the donor’s website, plus a descriptive write-up and image of the item. In exchange for a donated item, the donor receives 4 weeks of online targeted marketing to members and supporters of the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce, residents of Lakewood and surrounding communities, and to the 400,000+ members of the BiddingForGood community of cause-minded consumers. A limited number of auction sponsorships are also available.
