St. Edward Wrestlers Dominate Lorain Sectional

Eagles win eight weight classes; move onto District Championship in Lorain next weekend.

There's two things in Northeast Ohio that are a given this time of year: winter's grasp will not let go for at least another month and 's wrestlers will dominate the mats at sectional wrestling in Lorain.

Host Lorain gave them a run for the money on the first day, but Ed's depth and tradition proved too much as the Eagles ran away with the tournament tallying 387 points. Elyria was second with 189, while Lorain finished a distant third.

In turn, the Eagles will have its entire roster - including eight champions - move on to district action next weekend also being held in Lorain.
