LOOK: 'Fitness for Everyone' a Fine Afternoon at Lakewood Park

The rain clouds parted way for sunny skies at the annual, fitness-focused event.

The clouds and rain parted just in time for the Fitness for Everyone event at Lakewood Park on Sunday.

The event — formerly known as Recess Rocks — was all about health, fitness and fun.

Thousands strolled through the park to find a playland for children and adults alike.

The activity-based event, presented by Jordan’s Family Foundation, featured dozens of booths for children and families to stretch their legs, get some exercise, play a few sports and learn about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.

Participants shoot some hoops, skateboarded, knocked around a volleyball and tried their accuracy at the dunk tank — dropping teachers into the water below.

My 5 year old Grandson, Cameron Knoblauch, the little guy shooting the basketball had such a great time at the Lakewood Park, Fitness for Everyone this past Sunday. It really ended up being a Beautiful Day of Fun-Time Fitness and lots of Family Bonding.
