Lakewood native Alex Boone is ready for Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday.

The San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman, who is a product of St. Edward High School and the Ohio State University, took time to talk with the Akron Beacon Journal this week.

Boone, who has been called one of the most underpaid players in the NFL, discussed topics ranging from his preparedness for Sunday’s big game to President Barack Obama saying he wouldn’t let his son play football.
