A Lakewood High School junior is the second diver in two years to qualify for the state tournament.

John Liber finished in seventh-place at the recent Division 1 District competition, according to a post on the Lakewood City Schools’ website.

He will compete at the state tournament this Saturday.

Liber wasn’t alone at the diving portion of the district tournament.
