June Madness - Roller Derby Semifinals Are Here

The 2013 Cleveland roller derby semifinals are invading Parma Saturday, June 22 with more hits, more speed and more fun for everyone! The Burning River Roller Girls, Cleveland's own flat track roller derby league, will host this exciting double-header event at the Ohio Nets Sports Complex.

Skaters from the league's four home teams will compete for positioning in the July 20 Championships and their shot at the highly sought Hazard Cup.

“I can't wait to see how months of hard training, focus on team work and strategy pay off for our four home teams,” Brandy Alderson, president of the Burning River Roller Girls, said. “The two bouts on the 22nd will be the hardest played of the season as every skater fights for a chance to play for the ultimate prize, the Hazard Cup.”
