State Report Card a Mixed Bag for Lakewood Schools

If the new report cards look dramatically different than what people are used to, there's a reason for that: They are.

In the first year of the new grading system of Ohio school districts, Lakewood’s marks were — on the whole — about average.

In total, the district received three A’s; one B; one C; two D's; and one F.

The 2012-2013 school and district Report Cards will grade schools and districts on a mix of new and previously used components with an A-F letter-grade —rather than the old “Excellent with Distinction,” “Effective” and so on.
