St. Edward Students Buzz Hair for Cancer Foundation

Money collected from the creative fundraiser exceeded $4,500.

Last week, 275 St. Edward High School students shaved their heads in support of pediatric cancer research, raising more than $4,500 for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

The students exceeded the school’s goal of $3,000, and in response, 16 St. Edward administrators and faculty members shaved their heads and beards, according to KC McKenna, vice president of marketing at St. Edward.
