Taking the Classroom to the River

Students from Lakewood High School wrap up an ecology course that took them all over Ohio's outdoors.

Students from test the water quality of the Rocky River. Through a grant, funded by the Grossman family, 16 students at participated in this summer’s field ecology class. Among their field trips, students went through a gulch, out on Lake Erie, into a forest and down in a cave.
