Lakewood Schools Hire Four New Principals

Lakewood City Schools hired four new principals at its June 17 Board of Education meeting.

Bill Wagner, who's moving from high school principal to Human Resources Director, will be replaced by Harding Middle School Principal Keith Ahearn.

Three elementary school principals, Sandra Kozelka, Sabrina Crawford and Sandra Powers, have been hired, though building assignments have not been finalized. They will serve at Lincoln to replace retired principal Noreen Hazen, at Horace Mann to replace retired principal Dr. Kathleen McGorray and at Grant to replace Roxann Ramsey, who was hired as the district's Director of Teaching & Learning K-12.

Kozelka has been with Lakewood Schools for 22 years and most recently served as an instructional coach. Powers and Crawford are new to the district.
