Live Well Lakewood is delighted to present Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, nationally known for his alternative medicine practice.

Dr. Esselstyn spent many years of his career performing heart surgeries before turning to plant-based diet as a method for preventing and reversing heart disease.  Dr. Esselstyn currently directs the cardiovascular prevention and reversal program at The Cleveland Clinic Wellness Institute.

Dr. Esselstyn’s philosophies are portrayed in the recent movie “Forks Over Knives.”
