Do You Agree With the Sun News Endorsement of the School Levy?
The newspaper recently announced its support for Issue 14.
On April 4 the Sun Post-Herald wrote an editorial in support of Issue 14, the measure for the Lakewood City Schools operating levy on the May 7 ballot.
The paper pointed out that the district lost $6 million in state funding and has made $8 million in budget cuts.
"It will be difficult for the district to absorb more cuts without having a detrimental impact on the quality of education," according to the editorial.
