Welcome to Pawsitively Lakewood

Welcome to my first Pawsitively Lakewood blog.  Lakewood carries the distinction of having the highest dog density between Chicago and New York.  Our city is full of dog friendly parks, including one specifically for them.  We even have a dozen dog related businesses and organizations.  Pawsitively Lakewood is your source for learning about our thriving four legged community.

This blog will concentrate on a number of different aspects of Lakewood dog ownership.  I will sniff out what you need to know about our local dog businesses.  You’ll get to know Lakewood’s foster dogs.  Keep up to date on all the fun activities and events you can go to with your dog and for our nonprofit dog organizations.  I will also do my best to give you the 411 every lost and found pooch in the 44107. The blog will also help you learn more about your dog and keeping him happy.

There will be different segments about dog food, toys and products. Learn about the current diseases or seasonal issues. Does your dog insist on giving you a hug when you get home from work?   Does he like to talk to everybody that passes by your front windows?  Or does she just stare at you bewildered when you say sit? You can submit questions for ‘ask the trainer’ articles.
