Congratulations to the LHS Girls Varsity Cross Country Team on their outstanding performance at the McQuaid Jesuit Cross Country Invitational held at beautiful Genesee Valley Park in Rochester, NY on Sat. Sept. 28th.
The largest scholastic Cross Country race in the nation, the girls team competed in race #20, finishing 3rd place over all, amongst a field that included 39 teams and 219 runners.
Leading the way for the girls was Maeve Christie who finished in a personal best 11th place in the race. Grace Latham and Alyssa Hasman finished 21st and 23rd. Finishing in 48th and 49th place to round up the girls score was Yasmeen Shafik and Anna Riddle. The Rangers finish out their regular season competition this weekend at the Stow Bulldog Invitational.
