Marrell Music plays for Hunger Relief for TLCO

Musicians assist hunger relief efforts of Trinity Lakewood Community Outreach.

Marrell Music faculty and students will play their hearts out for hunger at Trinity Church, Thursday, May 16, 7pm.  A free will offering will be taken.  The monies will support the hunger relief programs of Trinity Lakewood Community Outreach (TLCO).  TLCO hosts 4 free meals a month at Trinity Church.  They also have an open pantry on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month from 9,-2pm.

You can't miss Trinity Church.  The organic Garden of Peace and Plenty is at the corner of Hall and Detroit.  This is the 5th year for the garden.  Every other year the 1000 pounds of produce grown there has been distributed to meal guests or cooked into one of the meals or canned for future meals.

If you are not a garden spotter, Trinity Church is located just across from the new McDonalds at 16400 Detroit.  It is also the place where folks are lined up in summer on 3rd Saturday mornings to receive free produce.
