Irish Cottage Demolition Begins At Clifton Pointe Site
Groundbreaking of the second phase of Clifton Pointe is slated for Thursday.
The house in front of the former Irish Cottage was demolished to make way for the second phase of Clifton Pointe townhome development on Sloane Subway.
All that was left Monday afternoon was rain-soaked rubble.
The former Irish Cottage gift shop is expected to meet a similar fate this week, as groundbreaking of the new upscale townhomes is slated for Thursday.
The development, already approved by city officials, will mirror the first phase across the street.
