It’s Spooktacular!

It’s time for Lakewood’s 6th Annual Spooky Pooch Parade on Saturday, October 19, 12:30-3:30 pm.  Join us again for this popular event, which attracts pet lovers from across Ohio.  This is a must see parade – one-of-a-kind in the region.  Dogs of all shapes and sizes strut their costumes.  Parade watchers welcome.  Click HERE for highlights from last year.

The event kicks off at St. Charles Green between Belle and St. Charles Avenues, behind Lakewood Center North Parking Garage.  Enjoy the pre-parade festival with 40+ area vendors featuring unique dog-related products, a kids’ costume trick-or-treat area, and a pumpkin patch provided by Lakewood Garden Center.  Human food will also be available!

Registration begins at 12:30 pm and the parade steps off at 2:00 pm sharp. Awards will be given to the Best Dog & Child, Best Dog & Adult, Best Group, Spookiest Pooch and Best in Show.  We have made the judging process faster and more efficient to keep the energy high after the parade.
