Vote-by-Mail Ballot Applications to be Mailed This Week

Registered voters will begin receiving these applications for the November election.

Brecksville voters, check your mailboxes: vote-by-mail ballot applications for November’s election could be showing up as soon as Tuesday.

The Secretary of State is sending vote-by-mail ballot applications to all registered voters, and Cuyahoga County voters can expect to see them this week, according to a press release from the county Board of Elections.

This statewide mailing comes after a compromise with the county last year.

Voters who don’t receive their absentee ballot application can check their registration online, and they can request an application on the board’s website, by calling the board at (216) 443-3298 or by visiting their .

According to the release, applications must be received by the board by 6 p.m. on Nov. 2 if being dropped off in person or by noon on Nov. 3 if being mailed.

Registration closes on Oct. 9, and the election will be on Nov. 6.
