Trash and Recycling Collection on Labor Day

If your pickup is usually on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, it'll be picked up that day, or the day after.

There won’t be any refuse or recycling collected on Monday because of the Labor Day Holiday.

According to city officials, residents whose refuse is normally collected on Monday will have their collection on Tuesday. 

Residents whose refuse is normally collected on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday “should have their refuse and recyclables available for collection on their regular day,” and it will be collected either on that day or the day after, according to a news release.

Residents whose refuse is normally collected on Friday, it’s business as usual — the pickup will take place on Friday.

As a friendly reminder, residents shouldn’t put out their rubbish on the curb or tree lawn until after 6 p.m. on the night before your collection day and should be available for collection by 6:30 a.m. on the collection day.
