Rep. Betty Sutton Stumps in Lakewood

The congresswoman running for the redistricted District 16 made a stop on the campaign trail the Root Cafe on Saturday.

US Rep. Betty Sutton (D-13) made a stop at the Root Café in Lakewood on her campaign trail for the newly redistricted 16th Congressional District.

Although if elected, she wouldn't represented Lakewood, she noted that her district stretches into western Cuyahoga County.

Among the towns she would represent are Westlake, Strongsville and North Canton in the south.

"Northeast Ohio is in this together," she said. "This district has a lot of arbitrary lines. Our interests don't stop at arbitrary lines. We have common concerns."
