Other facts
House District 13 is where I grew up and have raised my family. I have served both in my professional capacity as a teacher and women's outpatient treatment program Director and as a volunteer in numerous community organizations and projects. I have also been a hard working State Representative serving House District 13 with commitment and integrity. I will continue to work to create and retain jobs, strive for excellence in education for all students, and work to create policies that support healthy communities. I have been and will continue to be an advocate for seniors, families, small businesses and the working people of our district. I currently serve on the House Committees of: Commerce, Labor and Technology; Health and Aging and Education. I have also been appointed to the newly formed committees of Public Health Futures and the 21st Century Manufacturing Task Force. I believe by working together, we can make House District 13 (Lakewood, Cleveland Wards 16,17 and a part of 15) and our region a place where people want to raise their families to live, learn, work, play and thrive. I hope that my hard work and representation as the State Representative has earned me the confidence of the people to be returned for a second term. This is why I I seek re-election to continue to serve the people as your State Representative in the Ohio House.
