Mayor Summers Launching 'Listening To Lakewood' Program

The first event set for June 12at Rozi's Wine House.

Lakewood Mayor Michael Summers wants residents to know he’s listening. 

That’s why he’s launching the Listening to Lakewood program this summer. 

Local businesses will host the mayor as he answers questions and speaks with residents, according to a press release.

“These Listening to Lakewood sessions are an opportunity for all residents to meet the mayor and discuss Lakewood,” according to the release.

The first event is set to take place at from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. June 12.  All residents are encouraged to attend.

Additional “L2L” upcoming sessions — also slated to begin at 5:30 p.m. — are:

  • July 10:
  • Sept. 11:

“This is an opportunity for me to connect with residents in a casual atmosphere and find out what’s on their minds,” said Summers in a statement.
