Mayor’s Annual State Of The City Address Slated

Mayor Michael Summers will have the opportunity to review his first year in office at the Lakewood Masonic Temple on March 27.

Last year, after only a few months in office, Lakewood Mayor Michael Summers laid out a few of the city's hot topics in his .

They included public safety, housing and keeping the city’s finances lean.

Summers will have the opportunity to revisit some of those initiatives while introducing some new ones at his second-annual address, slated to take place at the at 7 p.m. March 27.

In his second address to the community, Summers is expected to focus on the city’s achievements, opportunities and challenges — with a “particular emphasis on Lakewood’s future.”
