Barack Obama won the national vote and he won in Ohio.
He also won in Lakewood, according to unofficial vote totals from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections, more than doubling the votes for Mitt Romney.
While Cuyahoga County is a Democratic stronghold, Republicans needed to perform well in the suburbs to shave off votes from the president's total.
In Lakewood, that strategy didn't go over so well.
Obama took each of the city's 41 precincts, collecting 16,229 total votes to Romney's 6,821.

Axelrod and the Chicago gang ran one of the sleaziest campaigns ever defining Romney as something he was not. What is the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Sadly, we will get more of the same from a president who was in over his head from day one.
