The home needed quite a bit of work.

The city had to replace the plumbing, electrical system, floors, heating and cooling systems and upgrade the kitchen and bathrooms.

“It really didn’t fit the 21st century lifestyle that homeowners are looking for,” Siley added. “We were able to renovate it and make it great.”

Ellsworth said he knew the moment he stepped into the home for the first time that it was the perfect fit.

“It had this very classic and nostalgic feel to it,” he said. “The project they did to renovate it was fantastic. Everything looks amazing and everything about it is everything I was looking for in a home.”
